Benny H. Hernandez Sr. is a highly experienced construction, security systems integration, and project management executive with over 35 years of leadership in commercial, industrial, government, military, and detention facility operations. As CEO and Owner of Security Systems Integrators LLC (SSI), he oversees strategic planning, project execution, construction coordination, technical systems integration, and operational management for complex security and infrastructure projects.

Mr. Hernandez has extensive expertise in general construction management, integrated security systems, CCTV surveillance, fiber optics, audio/video communications, PLC controls, microwave transmission systems, and detention security technologies. Throughout his career, he has successfully directed multidisciplinary teams, managed large-scale field operations, coordinated service contracts, and delivered end-to-end project lifecycle support for both public and private sector clients.

Prior to founding SSI, Mr. Hernandez held senior leadership positions with major security and detention industry organizations including Cornerstone Detention Inc., Argyle Security Group Inc., and Metroplex Control Systems, where he specialized in national service coordination, integrated systems troubleshooting, technical operations, and regional business development. His leadership contributed to significant operational growth, increased efficiencies, and expanded contract performance throughout the Southwest region.

A proud United States Navy Seabee veteran, Mr. Hernandez also served in overseas military construction and operational support assignments in Iraq, Guam, California, and Texas, where he directed construction projects, supervised facility operations, and managed infrastructure and security maintenance programs supporting military operations.

Known for his hands-on leadership style, bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, and strong technical expertise, Mr. Hernandez continues to provide innovative leadership in construction planning, security technologies, systems integration, and emerging unmanned systems operations across multiple industries.
